I dont know what is happening here. I know not where she is comming from or where she is going to, nor do i understand a single word she is saying, but, she seems like a woman scorned? I do love Opera, albeit that maddening circumstance of the language barrier. I of course feel the emotion of it all, and for now, it is all that i need.

Without a doubt, charpentier is in my view, the most talented composer of church music. His 10 magnificat settings, masses, and many, many other works prove the point to me. Packed with surprising variety, charpentier introduces marvelous effects that are quite pleasing, yet not predictable.
